Mucus Plug

Tonight i just went to the bathroom and i came back out and it felt like a wet myself a little. Went back in and seen some green snot like on my underware. wasn't too much just like a spoonfull.. changed and went and laied down becuase im sick. Im 4 days away from my due date and was like hrmm maybe im starting to loose my mucus plug. So i got back up after taking a nap and went to the bathroom and there was about 2 spoonfuls this time. even more snot like but still greenish clear. So my question is i heard that your mucus plug is like handfuls of mucus would i have lost my mucus plug or are you able to loose a little at a time?

i had the greenish mucus jelly stuff with my first baby and i think that was the plug because i went into labour 2 days later, so could very well be, good luck x

Oh you know what... I just remembered that I did have some greenish mucous. It was such a tiny amount. I was just thinking about it and I do remember. You are losing your plug. Some women lose a little, some a lot. Just to make sure, I did some searching and other women said it was their plug. Congrats! Baby might be here soon

Oh, and some women lose their plug at once or a little bit at a time. Everyone is different. If you're close to having your baby and have an infection, it is important to take care of it before you give birth.

When my water was broken at the hospital it had a greenish-brown color because my daughter had her first BM in utero. What you have is mucous, not water, that is green. I'm trying to clarify that. You're not in emergent danger so don't spend the money to go to the ER. But do call the ER to see what they want you to do.

I personally never saw any mucous plug or bloody show (some women bleed when the mucous plug comes out). But the greenish color is kind of like a red flag. I don't think it is supposed to be green. You might have an infection.

It's not baby poop. You can't see baby poo unless your water breaks. The green mucous probably means vaginal infection. You need to be seen.

i think wat u may be seein is the baby pop or soemthing u need to call the hospital as soon as possible and speak to a ob nurse and let her know wat u saw i think u should also go the hospital to be on the safe side anything that is not white or cream to me i think is abnormal i dont want to scare u but u need to head the hospital so they can check u out ok
