NEED HELP

My last menstrual period was on Jan 12th. I did 2 home pregnancy tests and 2 urine tests at the doctors office to confirm pregancy around the second week in February. I started spotting last night and started bleeding heavier only when urinating not in a pad at all. Little cramping not bad.  Went to ER and they tested HCG level and it was low (36) and they didn't see a fetus with an ultrasound.  They said to go back to the doctor in 48 hours to get another HCG level test.  Is this a miscarriage or is there a chance for my baby?

I had a miscarriage with twins...but not at the same time.  I lost the 1st twin in the first 3 weeks.  I had spotting off and on the whole time I was pregnant.  The took my HCG and I heard my babies heart beat.  Every thing was fine.  It was my first pregnancy so I didn't know what was normal and wasn't so I trusted that every thing was ok.  But it wasn't.  I miscarried at 19 weeks and 2 days.  I started having a little ache in my stomach... by the next day I had pain in my rectum, back, an stomach.  I woke up in the middle of the night and told my husband I needed to go the er.  I heard my babies  heart beat in the er and every thing seemed ok.  The tech went to leave the room and  my water broke.
About a month after loosing my baby a friend of mine was having the same problem.  Her Dr. told her that spotting could be normal during pregnancy so she didn't think much of it.   She came to my house one day and kept saying she was in pain.  I got her to describe it to me an it was the exact same as mine.  I got her husband to take her to the ER and they put her on a iv drip with a med to stop her labor.  She had to stay in the hospital at about 4 months until me baby was born hooked up to a iv.  But they saved here baby!
I'm telling you this because spotting isn't normal if:
            1.) Bright red.
2.) has a slimy, dark red clots or tissue in the blood ( you may see it in the
toilet after going.)
You could have a blatter infection too.  I would just take the Dr.'s word.  Get a second opinion.  Demand further testing!  Be a ***** if you have to lol.  I hope this helps.  Good luck.  Anita

Your HCG seems very low for being over 6 weeks Pregnant. However you could not be as far along as you think or it just could be rising really slowly, which happens.
I say there's always hope, so never give up. I'll pray for you and your baby!
