I'm on board with the green walls but I would do a very light green to keep the room bright. I actually like the dark pink color curtains, adds a pop of color. I would paint the letters pink and use the green from the wall color and paint little green circles on the letters. It'll bring the colors together. Have fun doing the baby room!
Nursery decorating, that is so fun. I miss those days. I'm actually converting my nursery into a toy room right now. Speaking of which, does anyone know where I can get kids kitchen sets? I think my girls would love one for Christmas.
Ok, that is what I was thinking about doing, I just didn't know the name.
Yep...it's just a strip of wood that is made to go along the wall.....I have it in my bedroom with chocolate brown on the bottom, chair rail is white, and green on the top of it...I looks awesome...And like Joy said, it makes it look very professional, neat and clean.....I think ours were like $18 for an 8 foot piece, so not too expensive.
If you have crown molding on your walls it is sort of like that only you put it almost halfway down the wall so it sort of divides the top part of the wall with the bottom. If you Google it some pics will come up (I just tried it). You can get different sizes, different looks, etc.
Thank you so much!! I love your ideas..I do have a question though, WHat are chair rails? lol..I really have no clue. I'm so not very good at these types of things
Yeah, chair rails are AWESOME! It'll add a lot to the room as far as making it look professional.
It's the patchwork one right? ADORABLE! I agree with Joy as far as the green walls.....you could always do a white chair rail part way up the wall, either green or beige on the top and the opposite on the bottom, then do the curtains in whatever color you used on the bottom for contrast! How cute! I love it.
OR you could do a brown/tan paint so the colors of the quilt and bedding POP in the room!
Yeah, if you look in the picture of the first link the curtains are bright pink. I don't like that! So definitely use either green curtains or a lighter shade of pink!
Joy - What's the name of the set??
Ooh... so cute! I take it the baby is a girl???
You should take that mossy green and use it as the paint color and the curtains. The wall letters should be a mix of green and pink or JUST pink. And you should get changing pad colors in both colors (you'll need more than one for all those "accidents"---I own FOUR changing pad covers!).
hey there....I've tried to pull up those links and i can't get anything...the 1st just brings me to the home page and the other unavailable....what's the name of the bedding set and i'll just do a search from the home page..i'd love to see it and give opinions......I LOVE decorating...i live for HGTV! LOL
