No drop in BBT during period

I am currently day 3 into my period, which arrived about 3 days late to begin with.  About a week ago I began experiencing weird waves of nausea, accompanied with strange symptoms, leading me to begin questioning the possibility of pregnancy.  i took a pregnancy test (over the counter) two days ago, and it showed up negative.  I am still feeling funky, with waves of nausea, though I got my period, and my temperature has yet to drop (as it normally does once my period arrives).  Could this merely be a sign of hormonal imbalance?  I have been above my coverline for over 14 days now, and I can't help but wonder what is going on, especially coupled with how on & off funky I've been feeling.  Does anyone have any advice?  Is pregnancy still a possibility?

My temperature doesn't seem to drop until AF has already ended and then a few days later it finally drops. Pregancy tests before during and after have all been negative. I have been charting for a few months now and it's the same each month. Don't know why the temps don't go down like everyone says they should but don't see any answers on why anywhere.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Well It looks like I am getting my period. It seems a little heavier than yesterday. It is a weird color though its kind of like red with an orangey tint to it. Well last night I couldnt sleep well kept waking up cause I felt like I wanted to throw up. So I tossed and turned a lot. I took my temp this morning and it was at 97.78 yesterdays was 97.87. So I am not sure what is going on here. How much should my temps fall when I get my period? Ughhh I am so confused!

I remember before I was actually found out I was pregnant with my son, my period came late...but OMG the cramps, the bleeding, everything just happened 100 times worse and I had to leave work.  It was nothing I ever experienced before with my periods.  The bleeding was heavy for the first day then lighted back up and only lasted 3 days.  Usually my periods would come light, gradually get heavy and light again and late for about 4-5 days...so I pulled out a test and was DEF pregnant.  The lines on that test came out so fast.  I tested 3 times, 2 for me and one for DH because he couldn't believe it.  I was 8 weeks along when I tested and was 12 weeks at my first prenatal hen they thought I was 8 weeks because of my "So called Period".  When it wasn't a period at all....

I would think you could be pregnant.  I haven't charted until recently, but I know when you get your period, its supposed to drop!!  Best wishes and keep us posted !

So what was the outcome? Im curious to know since I am too experiencing this. I took my temp yesterday morning and it was lower than the previous days 97.57 I also strated getting some reallt bnad cramps. I am currently at 10 dpo. This morning cramps continued and my temp went up to 97.87. I started feeling kinda wet at work so I went to the bathroom and behold.... blood! Ugh.. so I keep checking and there is a tiny spot on my pad, and when I wiped there was nothing. So I am wondering whats up w that? I took a preg test this morning and it was negative. Ive been getting crazy symptoms.. and Im wondering what is this?

I am dying to know what the turnout was?  I am experiencing the same thing. My cycle is typically 33 days and ovulated (based on BBT) on day 19. However, 7 days after I ovulated I spotted and then the next day (yesterday) I have a heavier flow. Not quite as heavy as my period, but almost there. My temps are still up and my period isn't due for 4 more days. I took a HPT this morning and it was negative. Does anyone have any ideas?

I would say that it is a possibility. Sometimes women bleed when pregnant so what you are having might not be your period. I would test again.
