O/T but I feel like i am going to have a nervous breakdown!

I am only 24 but I seriously feel like it is coming. I love my son dont get me wrong ad I wouldnt have it any other way but i am going a little crazy. First off we have this 150 lb dog that I am scared of and refuse to let my son anywhere near...he stays on the main floor so Fynn and I stay on the upper floor. We literally have two rooms to go in, my bedroom, or his bedroom, 3 if you include the bathroom. I dont get out much because I dont drive and the boyfriend doesnt want Fynn taking the bus. It wasn't so bad when he was first born because I could take him for walks because the weather was nice but it has started snowing and I am worried abut taking him out when it is too cold.
My boyfriend will go to work at 7 come home at 4 and then say he needs time to "relax". I have had Fynn all day and he needs to relax? He will go on the computer for 2 hours, then say he needs to spend time with the dog and make dinner, SOmetimes he doesnt come upstairs till 8 or so ..I will finally get some time to myself but 2 or so hours later he is asking me to take Fynn again so he can relax before bed!!
Those few hours I get to myself a day are spent washing the dishes, doing the laundry, cleaning up the house, taking care pf the cats and cleaning after his dog!! By the time everything is done and I Finally sit down and relax...5 minutes later he is asking me to take the baby cuz he needs to relax!! I DO TOO!
Evey morning he says how jealous he is that I get to stay at home all day with Fynn yet he only spends like 3 or so hours with him. I dont get out much with my friends these days and i am getting lonely....i just needed to vent!\
Thanks guys!

Yea I always wanted to go to Canada when i turned 19, but when i turned 19 is when they made it to where you had to have a passport, and it seemed like too much work just for one night of drinking lol....  But yea I used to love working there, but then it got really old. same ole crap and drunks are soo annoying!!!!  some were funny and i loved, like I have regualrs I cant wait to go see when i turn 21 at the other bar in town.  but no, you DO NOT have to be skinny  and pretty.. and you are both by the way :)  We had an old lady who bartended with me, she was spunky and a stoner, but she was old and kinda chubby lol..  I loved her.. and I got hired with absolutley no experience, i only got hired cause my sister worked there. but after a few months  i was a pro lol.. now 2 years of it, i can pretty much make anything and im a quick one!! I used to wait on like 60 people by myself..  and yea it is good money, i miss going home everynight with some cash instead of waiting for my check every week.

I'm so sorry you feel this way Cheryl...I felt like that a lot when my daughter was little. Now that we have two kids and a bigger house, my husband had laid off the complaining and "my job is harder" crap. I also cook complicated dishes for dinner every single night (i don't do the microwave stuff either, Julia..I love to cook!!), the least of which took nearly 2 hours that I cooked last night. I'm also starting a nannying job next week that will have to shut my husband up about HIS money, because I'll be nearly DOUBLING our income.

A friend of mine posted something funny the other day and I'm paraphrasing here but when her fiance said "I just need to relax" she replied with "gee it must be NICE to be able to relax" and it's so true.

my husband also takes MY van *grrr*...he has his own car but it needs a new spark plug and he keeps putting it off so he takes my van ( I think he likes driving it better) and I'm stuck without a car all day. when he gets home even when he's tired I'm like "come on we have errands. let's go. if you're gonna take my car all day you can very well get your butt up to take us to get groceries." and he does.

you're definitely not alone, but I think it gets better with time and practice..you and your husband will have to learn to work better together as partners and parents. and nothing can speed up that process, it just takes time. hang in there sweetie!

I know how you feel, I felt the SAME way. My hubby would be like you have the best life, you sit at home and dont do anything..... EXCUSE me? I take care of our child, make bkfast, lunch, dinner, clean, do the house work............... And I dont anything!??! My hubby works 10 hrs daily, so yeah i get he "works" and gets tired.... But that doesnt mean that i get a massage all day and someone feeds our child, and makes ME dinner.

Thats how MEN are.... always will be, THank God i have a job now! Or else id be still getting pissed at him... lol. Now hes got nothing to say. He knows how good it was to get a five course (HOMEMADE) meal every day when i was "at home" doing nothing. Now ill bet he CANT WAIT til i start sitting at home again and cooking like i used to. Now its quick meals, pasta dishes, potato dishes, tortellini.... and thank God for salads on the side..... But still IT is all "homemadE" i dont do the microwave stuff.

I know how you feel hun, its horrible.  I feel so bad for you and myself.  I dont work right now either and we only have one car(my car) and Db takes it to work everyday from 6am to 5pm. and they he gets home and he goes and watches tv and plays video games, he will take Cole if I ask him to but he just puts him to sleep instead of playing with him, or he just lets him fuss and cry while he plays the game.. he does make me dinner but he dont clean or anything.. I dont go anywhere.. DB always tells me to go out, but I dont want to.  I was going out once a week for maybe a month, but I quit like 2 weeks ago, cause it was driving me nuts, Id go out and the whole time i was with my girls I was worried about Cole, not that I dont trust Drew with him, but i dont feel like hes getting all the attention he needs when im not here.  and I miss him too much.  So I decided to wuit going out for a bit. But i turn 21 in 2 weeks and i will be going out for my birthday, and for new years eve.

But your not alone hun, I feel the same way, sometimes i feel like im gonna lose it, sitting in this house all damn day.  The only time I leave is if DB wants me to go to the store for dinner stuff. or if Cole has an appointment...  You can always vent to me :)
