OB appointment today!!

Hey ladies, just wanted to let  you know I went in for my actual OB appointment today. Everything seemed to go fine. We tried to hear a heartbeat, but at only 8w6d we couldnt find the little bugger. The doc says the baby was pretty active....that we couldnt find the baby through the placenta since the placenta is bigger than the baby at this point. A couple times i thought I started to hear it, then once she got my heartrate and assured me it was mine, not the baby's...BUMMER!!! Oh well, we'll get to hear it next time. Four more weeks and I get to go back.

Kelly-yes, active is good. :) The ultrasound we did a couple weeks ago and it was transvaginal cause I wasnt far enough along to do a normal one. Turned out I was only 7w1d when they did it. That put me at 9 weeks today. Yay, getting closer to the 12 weeks mark. I have a decent little belly already too. Then again this is #3!! Lol!!!

Hearing the heartbeat is so amazing.. I did cry!!   you'll hear it next time!!  :)  glad everything went well!!

Glad to hear that everything went well!  Did they do a transvaginal U/S or Doppler?  That makes a difference sometimes.......Hey, the little one was active...which means all's well!  Congrats!

AWWW! i cant wait untill im further along and closer to being able to hear the heart beat!!! ive got a ways to go though! hope you get to hear it next time. im sure i will cry the first time i hear my babys heart beat!!

HAHA I LIVE FOR THE DOCTORS APPOINTMENTS TOO! LOL... BUT GLAD TO HEAR YOU SAW YOUR LITTLE PEANUT!! I REMEMBER MY BABY WAS SO TINY WHEN I WAS 8 WEEKS! HAHA
