OMG! LATE PERIOD!

I'll start out by saying that I'm hopefully just freaking out....

Anyways, I have been on different types of BCPs for abou 8 years, then the Nuvaring for 3 months, then the Mirena IUD for a little over a year.  I had the IUD removed in June because I just couldn't tolerate it.  My husband and I have been tracking my cycles and using condoms since.  We are not TTC.

Each cycle has been 29 days, and we have not had sex near to when I am supposedly ovulating.  I am now 4 days late, my breasts are really sore and definitely a little bigger, I'm exhausted (normally I never sleep, maybe off and on all night, and the last week I've been sleeping 6 hours straight, and going back to sleep another 2 hours and I'm still wiped all day).  I don't have any of my usual cramping or diarrhea like I usually do with my period, so I'm pretty worried.

What is everyone's thoughts?  Should I just wait it out a bit or should I take a test?  Will the test even be positive if I am pregnant??  Could I be pregnant???

Thanks!

Well i would say they sound like pregnancy symptoms. If u are using condoms they aren't 100% effective. When u say "avoiding the times when ur ovulating" do u know when u ovulate or do u just go by the 14 days before u get AF rule? This isnt true for everyone and sometimes u can ovulate early or late.

If u are 4 days late then it would definitely show up on a pregnancy test. Get a digital test or a pink dye test, dont go for the blue dye tests as they are less effective than the rest and can sometimes leave evaporation lines that u can mistake for a BFP!!

Good luck though and try not to stress too much. Keep us posted! x
