OT: REALwork from home?

I know there were some posts about this before, but since I am established in my career, I didn't read them.  My dh is going to school for his BA in Programming and working in retail...he'd like to work from home if possible but not sure of the opportunities...If anyone knows a REAL work from home opportunity, can you share?

No, I don ot know of anything "real" that would bring a steady decent wage from home, if you find something, please let me know! =)

I started a business making and selling jewelry on Etsy. This does not accumulate any sort of consistent income whatsoever. I could sell $50 of merchandise one month and a couple hundred the next month. So far I haven't even been able to "pay myself" because I'm still so new to the business that it circulates back into the business to buy more supply. So for now it's more of a hobby than a reliable source of income.

I have a friend who does insurance work from home.

You can also do medical transcribing from home.

With both you need some schooling (just a few months most likely). They'll provide the equipment you'd need to start.
