Just wanted to let you all know, My OB told me today to try and avoid Turkey if possible or eat a small amount. She said there is Mercury in Turkey!! I never knew, so I am just letting you Ladies know!!!!
I never heard of this! MAybe it is from shots they give them? I follow things as well and ahve only heard of fish having mercury. DOn't forget the soft cheeses are bad too! Like cheese cake and sour cream blue cheese etc... I know that turkey is very extreemly high is sodium too.
There isn't anything wrong with sour cream it's unpasturIzed dairy that you shouldn't have. That does not include cream cheese, sour cream cottage cheese. Cheesecake should be fine too. As long as it is a pasteurized product and cooked the appropriate amount or kept refrigerated properly it is ok. Obviously NO raw meats. Turkey as far as research shows is safe. People freak out about all sorts of things, vaccines and all sorts of stuff bc of mercury. If we follow all this stuff we would have to live in a bubble and go hungry.
omg !!! really well i vowed i wont be eating turkey this christmas as my DF AND MY KIDS have grown their own lol and i just cant bear to eat it lol im really silly like that i too cannot eat eggs from our chickens hahaha
