PCOS bleeding with no ovulation

I think I may have PCOS...I will find out my hormone test results Monday the doc said they didnt think I was ovulating.   I had a miscarriage and a d&c done on August 26th and I started bleeding for the first time since on Friday.  If I am not ovulating I know I cant have a period but I read that I can have bleeding....is this right?  Does anyone else have PCOS and have had a similar experiance?  Also my periods are usually light to med even when I miss them for 2 or 3 months.  This one is much heavier.

You can have a period and not ovulate,i suffered with pcos several years ago,and did occasionally ov.also with pcos i noticed my periods were heavy some months.
