PG test NEG. and still no period

its been about 2 weeks and 3 sdays since i missed my period i took a pg test a week ago and it came up neg.

my period was never this late and idn whats wrong
i havent been to the doctors yet because i am catching up on other stuff

so i dont know if i could be pregnant and not know or not pregnant and a really late period

could i miss a month (period) and not be pregnant???

The hormone your body makes when you're pregnant - HCG starts off low and doubles every two days or so.  Some HPTs register a level that would mean you've been pregnant for a few days while others are more sensitive.  Clear Blue Easy has a digital one (that's more expensive...) and there are some that claim to be able to detect pregnancy earlier than others.  If you tested a week ago and nothing still - I'd test again.

When tests come up negative but your period hasn't come - the recommendation is after a week with no period - retest.  Good luck.

You could just be stressed, but I would def. go to the doctor and get a BLOOD test. Your levels could just be really low and not come up on a test. The same happened to me several times,... I would be 5-6 weeks pg and just then get a barely there positive. I have had 4 miscarriages, so my problem was progesterone, and my levels were too low. Hope this helps...
