PREGNANCY AFTER MISCARRIAGE

I just got a positive result on an hpt,
I had a miscarriage 2 months ago, at 13 weeks of pregnancy .,
I am nervous because last time at 12 weeks  i had bad results on the nuchal traslucency, 9mm, as well as a cystic hygroma. a few days later there was no heartbeat, and 2 days later i had a d&c.
Anyways.. I really really want a baby (this will be my first) but i am nervous that this can happen again..
I got checked and have no chromosomal traslocations or anything like that (nor does my husband)..
and i did not miscarry because of any problems in my uterus or anything, it was just a problam with the health of the baby...
So, has anyone been through something similar?
does anyone know if my odds are higher of this happening again?

I dont know if you belive in God, I do.. and all I can say is that its all in his hands..
So.. Let go, and let GOD.. he will always do what is best for you, even if you dont know it yet.

Isn't it lovely to have all the support from the ladies on here!! I am actually thinking of waiting for only 1 period and then trying again as I am too impatient aswell!!  I am hoping for my period in the next few weeks!! Fingers crossed!!

I had a miscarriage in October of 2004 at 8 weeks. In January of 2005 I got pregnant again, then started to bleed profusely at 8 weeks, not resulting in a miscarriage, I went on to have a perfect pregnancy and gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who is now 4 years old. We are now 8 weeks along with our second baby  :)

I had a miscarriage at 12 1/2 weeks, decided to wait a while went on BC and never got a period 7 or 8 weeks after the miscarriage i found out I was pregnant again! I guess God had other plans! My doctor watched me carefully and i know have a happy healthy baby. Good luck, and oh i was really nervous until about 20 or 22 weeks when I knew there was a chance of saving the baby if there was a problem.

i miscarried in july 09 at 8 weeks or should i say 5 weeks since the sac never progressed past that! i am currently 11 weeks preggo today and everything seems to be going good! i am still a nervous wreck everyday for every little pain and i just have to look everytime i wipe to make sure theres no blood! i have another u/s at 12 weeks and i am hoping then i can calm down some!!! i have had u/s at 5 wks, 6 wks, 7wks, 9wks and another next week! see my pics!!! congrats and good luck, i am sure you will be okay! baby dust to you!!!

Well.. I was a little bit more than you.. and i got permission from my doctor.. so i guess it woudnt hurt that you start trying..
I got too impatient and tried on the days that i got a positive ovulation test..
So.. good luck.. and let me know if you get pregnant.

Well I was 9 weeks 2 days when I went for a u/s as I was bleeding a little but the baby had no heart beat and only gew to 8 weeks 2 days. Went for a scan couple of weeks later and I had miscarried naturally and had another u/s and they told me I looked great and everyhing was back to norm and my ovaries started activitiy already. I think I will wait until my first period and then just let nature take its course. I do feel like my body has heeled pretty quickly and I am ready to try again. Oh wow azzimmerman how great is that to hear that you now have a 7 1/2 mnth old.. I feel so much better :O)

I just wanted to let you know I had a miscarriage back in June of 07 and was told to wait 2 cycles.  Well we waited one and then left it in mother's nature hands.  I got pregnant right away and now have a beautiful 7 1/2 month old daughter.  I think eveyone is different, but just trust your body and it will get pregnant when it is ready.  Congrats MARIS78! I know how stressful it can be, but try and enjoy it.

Well I just waited one cycle and then i tried again.. but i did check with my doctor first, had an ultrasound and they told me everything looked ok and healed..
So..how far algon where you? i think the earlier you had the miscarriage, the faster it heals..
So.. my doctor told me wait until december.. but i asked if there was something wrong if by accident i became pregnant in November, and he said no.. So, i didnt really wait.

Oh my god wow congratulations so happy for you and this gives me hop as i had a miscarriage 2 weeks ago. when did you start trying again? we have been told to wait 2 cycles? I don't think the odds are higher after a miscarriage. Just ask them to keep closer eye on you and baby early on so you don't get stressed out. I am so happy for you. I can't wait to get pregnant again!! The waiting is horrible, I can't wait to get trying again, I'm thinking maybe wait for a 1st period then try??
