Pains and wetness....

Question

Okay I know I have got to be getting annoying with these posts lol but im at a loss as to what is going on...kind of surprising since this is my 4th baby lol. I have been having a lot of very very sharp debilitating pains in my vagina when Conner moves, and an increase in wetness, which isn't mucous. I called my doc on the wetness thing and he said aslong as it isn't niagra falls from below then im fine, but he didnt give me an explanation as to what it is. 

I was fine up until I took a warm shower tonight, like 15 min ago. I noticed when i got out that the pains were back in my vagina, and when I went outside to sit with hubby for a bit, I noticed an increase of fluid coming out. So once again I called the L&D on call doc, and he said it's nothing to worry about, to just go to bed and get some rest. Im not contracting, and I didn't pee myself lol I can tell by now when I do have a urine leak.

Do I listen to the on call doc? Call L&D and request to speak to my doc? 

My current condition isn't as bad as it was, im no longer dialated at a 3 which is odd, but I am about 80% effaced still....I was 75% 2 weeks ago. Im currently almost 35 weeks.

Any advice?

i know how you feel about only getting contractions only when you lay that happens to me so i dont want to get up cuz im scared they will go away.lol and the whole wet panties thing yeah i know it happens to me and its very gross and irritatating.

i know what you mean about the crotch pain... ive been getting it off and on everyday for the last 4 or 5 days. and im only getting contractions when im laying down. i almost dont want to stand up for fear that the contractions will stop. lol  ive also had a dramatic increase in the amount of wetness "down there", doc said its not my water... but man, its a lot of fluid. my panties are almost soaked everyday. its gross

i just made a post about almost the same thing, i also went and got checked and there was no leaking  but i feel for you! at least your nto having contractions like me! im a nervous wreck!

Hey everyone, So im not leaking amniotic fluid.....the best description the doc could give me, was saying it is a lubrication my body is producing in order to get ready for baby's grand arrival. The pains in my vaginal area is Conner, he is more than likely head butting me or has slipped an arm above his head and is playing and poking around. Doc said he is being a generally good baby lol because what im going through is 100% normal.

I am dialated to a 2.....I guess when the resident checked me he didnt know what he was doing, but when MY DOC checked me I am at a 2, and probably was never a 3, and always a 2 lol and it didn't close. I am 85% effaced and expected to go 2-3 weeks early since im making really fast progress. Thankfully my hospital is literally 5 min down the road. 

Anyways I have a reg. OB appointment today just to double check everything and make sure all went well over night...which it did to a point, I just can't sleep anymore and im going to ask for a sleeping aid when I go in.

so what are you dialated to now that is really weird.....hmm yeah i have had the same problem also its not alot bu it does get on my panties which is really annoying but i also get the sharp pain thing like everytime i get up or stand or walk as if my baby is extremly low now and is seriously pushing against my butt making it feel like i need to go number 2.....but i cant go when i try ew i know. and i am not dialated at all since i went to L&D about 11days ago for contractions that were stopped...but iam 95%effaced probably fully by now wh knows about dialations im only 35wks also so if im not contracting or having problems they wont check me.but anyways i dont think i will make it to oct since i can bearly walk anymore im basically on bed rest cuz they dont want me dialating yet understandable but it *****. and ive also brought up the whole leaking thing to my doc and he always says your not leaking if its not to your ankles. annoying so let me know what they tell you k.good luck!

I am off to L&D to have a fluid test done to make sure im not leaking amniotic fluid....again. My poor doc must be beating his head off the wall as many times as I have called and had this done lol. Oh well he gets paid good money for it, so he can deal lol.

I will let everyone know the update tomorrow morning as I will head off to bed as soon as I get home. It is passed midnight here already.

Thank you joy...Im actually going to call my doc, Im feeling a bit uneasy about the situation as im still slightly leaking. Hubby is actually dialing the number now lol he is just as worried as I am. I will keep everyone posted.

When your water breaks the baby's head acts as a plug. In movies there is always a huge GUSH of fluid but in real life it is usually a trickling because of baby's head. I would insist that they call YOUR doctor because the oncall doc is acting incompetent.
