Pains

Durring pregnancy in you're 18-19th weeks are you suppost to be having cramping pains that put you in tears? If so, is there a explanation and name for this? I have been having these pains for over a month now and gone to the ER and they send me home with no answers... I am concerned

ive been having very bad pains also and im only in my 5th week! so painful im in agony, my midwife says its fine aslong as theres no bleeding, and that its my uterous stretching :S i usually use a hot water bottle when i get cramps and they go very quickly!!

i had very menstrual like cramps around week 17 and admitted to ER 2x...they did u/s and internal exam an found nothing.....now i am 38 weeks an no cramps since then.

I've had some pains in my lower sides when I get up ...I did some reading and figured it was probably round ligament pain.  It's usually quick and sharp and goes away in a few seconds ...

I've very rarely had menstrual like cramps ...and if I did, they were always very light ...I attributed that to 'growing pains'.  But none of my aches and pains worried me enough to go to the ER.  

Has there been any bleeding with your cramps?  When you went to the ER did they do an ultrasound or check the baby's heartbeat with the doppler?  If they didn't find that the baby was in distress, they're probably diagnosing it as your uterus growing or something similar.

I hope you can get your pain figured out!!  I'm so sorry you have to go thru the pain and worry!!

Are you having BM's regularly?  I've gotten horrible cramps from being backed up, as silly as it sounds.

I know it's normal to experience menstrual-like cramping during pregnancy.  I've never had any that sent me to the ER though!  UGH.
