Payton Faith has arrived!!!

Got induced today! Started on pitocin at 7:45 am. They wanted to break my water at the same time but I told them no. I wanted to experience my water breaking on its own if it would but that never happened. They kept increasing the dosage of pitocin and the screen was showing I was having contractions off the charts but I didn't feel ONE! So 11 o'clock rolled around and I was ready for some progress so I said F it break my water lol. Contractions finally picked up so they checked me bout 2 o'clock and said I was 8cm and that if I wanted an epi now was my chance! So I took that chance and man did I feel goooood lol didn't feel anything till bout 5 o'clock. I was having a contraction in my left upper thigh and pain in my tail bone! It was so intense and the only thing I could feel out of no where so I called my doc into check me and she said holy crap baby is right there and you're a 10! Time to start pushing! I pushed for 15 mins! Baby Payton Faith made her grand entrance and I tore 1 tiny rip down and 1 tiny rip up (1 stitch for each) I kept waiting for that urge to "poop" or "push" but that never happened for me lol instead I got a contraction in my upper left thigh...weird I know lol. She ways exactly 6 pounds even, 19 inches long! Perfectly happy & peaceful! We had no trouble breastfeeding, she took on like a natural :) she's so beautiful and opened her eyes immediately after birth! She loves to look at everybody & everything. I was able to walk immediately after delivery. (Its like the epi knew I wasn't in labor anymore so the numbness just vanished lol) I had a great experience and I had a good experience with the epi and being induced! I'm one happy camper :)

She had an echo done after delivery to make sure everything was okay and still the same since the last time they checked while I was still pregnant. Her heart is perfect! :) I'm so thankful she'll be able to live a normal life, she's just unique that's all :)

Welcome to motherhood, times get really hard and stressful but them moments pass like any other hard day, when she smiles you will instantly forget them hard times and know shes always loving you. Enjoy these sleepless nights, I loved every minute of them and they don't last long.. congratulations and best of luck :)
