Pelvic Pressure / Pain

I went to the ER yesterday afternoon, because I was cramping really bad, I wiped a little earlier in the day and had a bit of pink on the TP, and after about 2-3 hours I could feel pelvic pressure. They checked me out baby is fine and so am I. But the pelvic pressure continues even today. It isn't noticable unless I stand up or am walking around. Laying down and sitting is fine. Maybe I need to call my OB, but everything checked out fine yesterday so, I don't know.

Anyone else had pelvic pressure? It is almost like the little one's head or feet is butting up against my pelvic bone. I feel the pain/pressure mostly on the right, I think because my placenta is low and on the left, that I am not feeling much over there due to the cushioning. Currently I am 20 weeks and 3 days.

Hate to say it, but I feel that way 70% of the time. Depending on how you are carrying, the pain is just part of the pregnancy "deal."  The things they never tell us.....  =)

My Dr. says it's normal and basically I have to "s u c k it up.." Just not in those words (although he should have,, that's totally what he was implying..)  =)

Nurse said that more than likely the baby is in an odd position that is causing pressure. As long as I don't start bleeding than I should be fine. The problem with this diagnosis is I am in a lot of pain to stand and walk. Ugh!!! Surely, if everything is alright with baby there must be a cause for this pain and a way to make it better. On to the internet for some research. I am willing to try almost anything as long as it isn't harmful to the baby on board.

I feel more pressure when Im sitting, but thats because I have a really short torso and when I stand it actually feels better for me because my ribs aren't so squished..

When you get the pressure do you get pain with it?? because when I went to the zoo one day with Travis and i had really bad pressure and pain after we got done.. it was just my ligaments being stretched from the weight of my uterus.. so that is another thing that it could be.

Thanks, I have a tilted uterus too, but didn't experience anything like this with my first baby. That was almost 10 years ago, so alot seems to be lost in the translation of a decade.

I just put in a call to the nurse. I have to check on some blood work they did yesterday anyways. So when the nurse calls, I'll ask her about this too. It is so weird that I only feel it when I stand up. Is this how it was with you mj_mommy_manda?

I too feel alot of pressure but my uterus is tilted and my doctor told when I first found out that I was preggo I would have lots of pressure early. He also told me that it's normal for any preggo woman to feel that way as long as there's no blood or more then 4 contractions in an hour. I'm sure you'll be fine and I hate to tell you this but the bigger the baby gets the more pressure you're going to have, I know nothing to look forward to. I'm over being ready to have my son. My body just aches and I'm only 27 weeks. I still have a ways to go. Well I hope that helps.

I started feeling lots of pressure when I was about 20 weeks.. I could feel him push out all the time and now that he is bigger when he does it you can see his little butt! lol but it was always on the right side too.. so maybe its baby pushing.. he could have his little butt down there or something.. but yeah i do agree with brittney, if you are worried abou it make sure you call your OB, better safe that sorry.

Even though you went to the er and got checked i would still call your ob the let them know what is going on and they might want to check you and baby again just to make sure.
