Pelvic rest

Anyone else on pelvic rest or have been on it?  I am off of bedrest at 36 weeks (been on since 29/30 weeks).  Currently on both due to preterm labor issues.
Does that mean doc will release me of pelvic rest too?  If that is the case do you guys think sex will cause labor for me right away?  Any experiences that can be shared?  My poor husband is going crazy and it would be nice to be close to him at least once before the my delivery... then the other 6 week wait starts...lol.

That is a good question for your OB! I was put on pelvic rest and even when I was released we still did not have sex because I was terrified! We went without the 9 months, not easy but I just could not take that chance!

You are almost there! I say wait until week 39! The longer your baby stays in the better!

id just wait to have sex till 37 weeks...just one week :)

Well i've never been on pelvic rest myself but my friend has. I do know that while on pelvic rest you cant have sex. If you are on this because of preterm labor issues then it may cause you to go into labor. I hope someone else maybe able to help you more.
