How long does it take to have a first period after an mc ??

hi hunny just noticed you replied :) thank you.
Ive had 1 or 2 tests but they came back fine and the only test i aint had is the chromosome one :( im back at the hospital to see some one on the 5th of october befor we try again but im thinking thats what it is sweety... what do they do tho if that is the case ??? xxx

Have you had any testing done from your previous M/C? When I had a M/C 3 months back and needed a D&C the Dr. tested some of the tissue and they were able to see that it was a chromosome abnormality which caused the M/C and that is what causes about 60% of M/C. Since you have had so many I am wondering if you have had some tests to see what it going on. My Dr. said if it had not been from a chromosome abnormality he would have run some tests, just a thought. It took me 5 weeks to be my period after a D&C.

hi thanks for your reply it came back 4 weeks then i fell pregnant for the 4th time and sadly lost the pregnancy again and then was worrying as it took 6 weeks to return and finaly today have just finished .... see what happens next time i fall pregnant, fingers crossed xx

it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks.. I believe I was told to consult a doctor if it didnt return after 8 weeks..

Mine took around 6.
