Period or Miscarriage..

I woke up yesterday to find a massive amount of blood. My last period was the 12th of Sept, or so I thought as it was only two days and was extremely light. I have been having all the preg symptoms this past couple weeks. Never got a BFP though..

Anyway, I woke up and found this blood, its dark and extremely heavy and I have consistant cramping that will not stop. My doctore wants me to come in immediately.....does anyone know if I could have been preggers and not known and this is a miscarriage?

Your situation is similar to mine.  I stopped my pills end of Sept.  Had my period from 9/30/07-10/5/07 and have had intercourse since but now 1 week later i am bleeding with some blood clots but i just had my period last week. I have not taken a pregnancy test but i went to my regular doctor today and she just told me she thinks its b/c of my hormones from stopping the pill but i feel like it might be a m/c and i dont know what to do... nobody has posted to my question yet so i guess i will find out soon enough.  Hope it all works out for you and i wish you the best of luck!

If you take in the clots and stuff they could do lab work on them but i'm thinking you probably dont have them...right?  The doctor may be able to do blood work and see what level your HCG is at and may be able to tell something from a vaginal exam.

Def some clots...that was the first thing I noticed....will they be able to tell if I were preg if I did m/c? How will they know? The dr. said it sounds like a m/c, but if I never got a Pos test, then I may never have been. If I were preggers before and the bleeding before was a mc, will they be able to tell me?

it could be either.  It sounds like it may be a m/c ....are you having any clots?  If what you had on the 12th was implantation bleeding insted of a period you could have been around 5 weeks which could still not register on a HPT b/c hormone levels may or may not be high enough.  Let us know what the doc says.
