Peripheral Lattice degeneration

If someone has been diagnosed with peripheral lattice degeneration, would pregnancy put them at greater risk for a retinal tear and if so, should they have a c-section instead of a vaginal delivery? I am wondering if the extreme pushing during a vaginal delivery would put them at greater risk for a retinal tear?
