Pineapple

Is eating pineapple ok if you are pregnant? I am 12 weeks pregnant and eat pinapple twice but I am worried. I have read it is bad but also they say it isn't. I am confused!!! My mom said once she was eating pinapple to have a misscariage and not have a baby. I hate that!!! I dont want to lose my baby!!! Help

I'm in love with pinapple and honestly eat like a whole one a week. It hasn't caused any problems for me. I heard that later in pregnancy it can induce labor but I've never heard of that actually happening to anyone.

I highly doubt that...I don't think there's really any food that will cause a miscarriage...I know that seafood could be dangerous and should not be eaten on an EVERYDAY basis, but once in a while is okay.  I've never heard of pineapple being harmful...I eat everything and I've had concerns of what to eat and not to eat, but I think you'll be perfectly fine and highly highly doubt you'll lose the baby from eating pineapple.
