Please Help....I'm Scared.

I might be on the wrong forum but I need some help please.

I just recently got told by my doctor that I have LSIL HPV. I have never shown any signs of this virus. I'm going to get the Colposcopy done this coming Monday. I have recently come to find out that this is very common although I never thought it would happen to me. So my question is. Since I have the low kind, and I found it so early what are the chances of genital warts appearing? Or will they ever?? I've heard sometimes you clear up on your own with no symtoms at all. Is this true? At this point I have had no symptoms at all.

Thank ya'll so much. I just found out today from the nurse that I have the "high risk" kind that can cause cancer (they said i don't have it so far). Which is the one that causes abnormal paps. The "low risk" kind is the kind that most commonly causes warts. So maybe I'll be in the clear. We are trying to have another baby so I'll be glad when it all clears up and HOPEFULLY my culp will be find monday....!!

I was diagnosed with HPV in 2002, I think. I don't know what type specifically. The doctor told me there are something like 70+ kinds, and only a few actually cause warts or anything bad. I also had a culposcopy and it showed noting irregular. Apparently I have one of the "non-bad" kinds because I have never had any type of symptoms except for an occasional abnormal pap. I gave birth last August and there were absolutely no complications during my pregnancy or birth. Hopefully things will go OK with your culpo and you never have to worry about it. I'd definitely ask your doctor more questions if you are not satisfied with what you find out. If he/she doesn't help, keep asking until you are satisfied. You can't always trust what you read on the internet, either :)
