Please help!

At 5 weeks 3 days pregnant I went to the E.R. because of some dark brown discharge. The doctors did an ultrasound but couldnt record the fetal pole and drew my blood and I had a hcg level of 2725. My cervix was closed and the doctor said it was some really old blood.   They told me to come back 2 days later and my hcg level had dropped to 2400 but the new ultrasound showed the sac with a 5 week 5 day fetus and a fetal pole of 91 bpm. The doctor told me that I was most likely going to miscarry and sent me to the doctor the next day who just told me the same thing. I am 6 weeks 4 days now and still have occasional dark brown spotting but thats it. I am getting my blood drawn tomorrow and i am praying for a miracle.  My question is; has anyone heard of this happening and the baby being ok? I am praying and I know everything is in Gods hands but this waiting is killing me.

Thank you! I am trying to relax, its just hard when the doctors tell you there is no hope but you feel differently.

hon, you have seen a heartbeat.. That's good news!!! And your HCG level's change all the time...... Just try and relax..... Some woman do have spotting or even bleeding during pregnancy... Your cervix was closed, your not passing clots, and your baby has a healthy heartbeat!!!!! Relax....Everything sounds normal and fine to me.... :-)

Hi i cant help with your question but i am in the same situation i am around 5 weeks pregnanti did 4 tests last week all pos but this weekend on saturday i started to bleed not heavy but started brown the bleeding has almost stoped now i went to the doctors today ans she said there is nothing they can do i have a scan on thursday but i couldnt wait so i got a test this morning and its negative i dont know what ti think i havent even bled alot
