I just found out I am pregnant and I had a mc in the middle of March. I have not had a period since having the mc. So yes you can get preggo right after having a mc and not have a period.

You ovulate before you get your period. That is why it is possible for a girl who has never had a period to get pregnant.

Well the way it works is, ovulation starts before you have a menstrual cycle. It's what actually causes a female to get her period, not vise versa. Generally you ovulate two weeks before you get your next period, and if you have sex between the time you miscarry till you ovulate, you can become pregnant without ever seeing a period. It's the same way for birth, abortion or miscarriage. Many women assume they're not fertile after any of these and that pregnancy won't occur, and so they have sex and when they test they find out they're pregnant again.

I got pregnant right after I had a miscarriage, and didn't get my period. Remember, you ovulate, then get your period 14-16 days after that, so there is always a chance of getting preggo after a m/c if you haven't had a period.

But, from what i've been told, there's no egg to fertilize during that time.
