Possibly pregnant?

has anyone ever got pregnant after taking the morning after pill? I took the pill 3 days after having unprotected sex and my period is late. My last period was jan 4th so im going on my second month with not having a period. I took several hpt all negative, feb 15th i took a urine and blood tests at the doc's-negative. If preg i would be 8 weeks now. I have preg symptons like tired, nausea incresed eating, weight gain in belly and breast. I am not on birth control and wast at the time i would have conceived. Is it possible i could be pregnant?

Thanks to all for the responses. i also have read that plan b can be taking up to 5 days but less effective with each day. I took the pill on day 3 but i was definitely ovulating that week which is why i am concerned if it worked. I have another dr appt in 2 weeks so im hoping my doc will do an ultrasound   because if im not pregnant i want to kno whats going on with my body.

i had a friend who took the morning after pill and still ended up being pregnant. however, i dont think that you are if your blood test came back negative, it would def show up there. unless like alaysha said unless you had sex again after the blood work was taken.. u may have concieved sometime after that. They also did studies showing that the plan b pill can work up to 5 days! but its not very effective after the third day. what probably happened is that the plan b pill messed up ur cyle. the same thing happened to me when i took the pill a few years ago and i didnt get my period for over two months and was verrry bloated but al test came back negative and i ended up getting my period.. good luck to u!

Taking the morning after pill can mess up your cycles. I highly doubt your pregnant. Your Dr might order an ultrasound to look for other causes for a missed cycle. Sometimes cysts can cause problems with your cycles. I took the morning after pill once after I was raped. It caused a big cycst which caused me to not have a cycle and then only spot for two more cycles. Once the cycst ruptured which was very painful my cycles went back to normal.

Morning after pill can be taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. It starts off as being only 85% effective and each day it looses more and more effectiveness. However, if you got a blood test and all of your urine tests are coming up negative then you are not pregnant unless you have had unprotected sex within the last 2 weeks and conceived and in that case it would be too early to show a positive.

Thanks for the reply. Ive been having abdominal soreness this week so im going to schedule a doc appt to see whats going on. My doc did a quantitive/quality blood test for preg it was negative. I really want to have an ultrasound done but ive heard this is hard to get your doc to do if the tests are negative.

You ar not pregnant if the beta came back neg unless it was a quantive one which is  a yes or no. You have to have a quantatative test to give you a number the other one is not accurate. the morning after pill does not work unless taken the moring after!!!!! Also I doubt you are pregnant though unless you had sex again and ar not that far along. Go back to your dr.
