It's not the stopping and starting of the bleeding that I'm curious about. This is my 6th delivery and I don't remember the blood becoming bright red again after 2 weeks. It's supposed to only be old blood.
As for the pain...it's not centralized like uterine cramps...it's only on the right side like inside the hip.
Yes I'm breastfeeding but my supply isn't that great and I'm having to supplement while I work on upping my supply.
that sounds a lot like me... i was having intermittent, not really heavy, bleeding for about 2 1/2 wks post-partum before it stopped completely...then I started having right, lower-pelvic ovulation-type pain that got worse. turned out to be cysts for me....but I wondered the same thing and was told (in no uncertain and not entirely polite terms, lol) that there was no way to ovulate that early....so my guess would be no.
Are you breastfeeding? If you are it just your uterus contracting back to normal, This happened to me i breastfeed and i would always feel contractions on my sides for a couple weeks after given birth. Plus the bleeding coming and going is also normal. I don't think you have ovulated yet but you could be. Some people get pregnant right after birth. But if you are still bleeding its just your body doing its magical thing to get you back to normal.
I havent given birth, I am going by my MC...
I know you ccant ovulate untill your HCG levels are 5 or under I think... with my MC... I ovulated 3 days after my MC and got pregnant again..
I havent given birth, but after my termination, my bleeding was there for 3 days then I got a clot, and then didnt bleed again untill the 1st Dec (Which was when my period was due as well,) so that came on time...
You may have ovulated, everyones body is different..

My bleeding stopped and started...I ended up bleeding for six weeks after my c-section with Elijah, I don't know if having a c-section vs vaginal birth causes PP bleeding to be any different, but I have read women stopping and starting and it lasting 4-6 weeks on and off. That is a really good question, I have no clue if you can ovulate so soon after birth...I know they say you're highly fertile...it would kinda make sense, DH and his sister are 11 months apart...so his mom had to have gotten pregnant within a month of having his sister...
