Preeclampsia??

Im only 16 weeks along however for the last few days ive been feeling like me heart was going to pop right outta my cheast. I thought it was just cuz i have a cold. Well my cheast started hurting so bad last night that my so took me to the E.R. the dr came in looked me over and sent me on my way telling me i have bronchitis...  Well as i was leaving the nurse who was dischargibg me told me to call my ob in the am and tell them that my blood presure was high. Because i just moved to the state im in im still awaiting for my appointment to set up ob care here. I have had a headache for days but thought it was just fron my cold but ive noticed some blurred vision here anf there and have sone slight swelling in my hands and face and even more sweiiling in my legs. My sister told me that she thinks i have Preeclamsia but i think that i may have just scared myself. Any advise my first ob appointment isnt till the end of the month.

Most obs wont diagnose pre eclampsia until after 20 weeks because you aren't far enough along in your pregnancy. If you are concerned about ask to do a 24 hr urine test.  If you have it you will have protein in your urine.
