Preg. levels question, are these okay??

I am 5 1/2 weeks along (after last period).. a week ago my HCG level was 743. I was expecting it to be at least 6,000 if it doubles every 48 hours.. I figured between 6,000 and 12,000. I just got the results back - Hcg is 5,784, Estradiol is 694 and progesterone is 28.2.. Are these good numbers?? I am on estradiol pills (8mg a day) and 1ml of progesterone (shots) a day. My first u/s is Friday and I am repeating blood next week. Please tell me if these are good numbers.. Thank you!!

You are right - I never mentioned the original progesterone level!! It was 40 last week and now 28.2.  They said its still in the normal range. I just figured it would have been higher, especially since I am on progesterone injections. I never imagined it would fall. I am concerned, but I guess since its still in the normal range and my hcg levels are rising, they are not worried. I am anxious for friday and to talk to my doc. This was a FET round.  I was never able to get pregnant naturally, or with IUIs and my first IVF failed. I am just soooo scared that this was all too good to be true, ya know?

You only mentioned one level of progesterone, and just compared the hcg levels so I didn't know that the progesterone dropped.  If you are getting shots maybe that's to help?  I never had to take progesterone while pregnant (but took it before to help ovulate and now I'm pregnant after my first round of it) but as long as they are monitoring it and not worried about it then you shouldn't worry.  Your u/s is in a couple days and honestly, if you are going to m/c it will happen no matter what.  I'm not at ALL saying you are, because your numbers are rising, but just think positivly because your numbers are rising.  I know once I saw my numbers rising I felt better, but it took seeing the heartbeat and the baby to feel completely content.  I had to wait until I was almost 9 weeks to get an u/s so your lucky getting it earlier.  But, if your doctor's aren't concerned then just relax (I know way easier said than done).

The numbers seem to be good.  Every women is different, some levels could be in the 1,000's during the first week, others (like me) can only be in the 100's.  If you look at the ranges of hcg numbers you'll see the different possibilities, but I wouldn't worry.
