no the doctor never gave me a reason I kinda felt like he didn't have time and just wanted to get me out...and looking back on dates may of had my period dec 11.but didn't ovulate till dec 26ish so which would make the ultra sound lady right on how far along am..I have had a miscarriage before and with that one the baby wasn't healthy and it showed in the ultra sound..right now hoping for the best and right now i have light spotting but no clotting and the more water i drink the spotting stops so am so confused

I'm not sure anyone can really ease your mind without more information.  The doctor didn't tell you why they came to that conclusion?  I believe they can be 2 weeks off as far as conception as it's based on so many different things.  I'd look for a second opinion or get another appointment ASAP.  my prayers go out to you ... I can't imagine getting two contradicting opinions :(

I went to the hospital at about 6 weeks they did an ultrasound and then an ER doctor came in and said that he was going to give me a shot to dissolve the baby. as he was explaining that though the OB came in and said that he thought my pregnancy would be fine but I had to stay and be monitored. well the whole night during the nurse shift changes 1 nurse would say congratulations and then the next nurse with say that she was sorry for my loss.so I would get a second opinion on that because they obviously don't have their stuff together and are not on the same page. the same as the doctors at at the hospital I went to.
