Pregnancy after miscarriage ?

I had a miscarriage on october 16th at 6 weeks pregnant, and now i think i miight be pregnant again, i haven't had a period yet and its been 4 weeks, what are the chances i could be pregnant again? when should i test ? and if i am what can i do to ensure i dont miscarriage again?

I Have Just Done A Test And It Came Back Positive
Im So happy And Yet At The Same Time Im Really Scared Of Having Another Miscarriage :( Going To Go Straight To My Doctors On Monday Morning

I got pregnant the same week as my miscarriage!!

Yes hun,if you took a test and had them do one  showing negative,and you take one now showing positive then its a new pregnancy.as for when to test,you could test after 2 weeks following sex.if your hospital tests shown negative then really you should have had a period now.I would get a pack of 2,test first thing in morning,then maybe wait a week test again.

i would assume If you'r test were coming out negative after miscarriage that you got rid of all the hormone. and that If you took a pregnancy test it would come out Positive. i would say you were pregnant again. but i AM no doctor so that's something you would have to take up. for preventing another miscarriage i would say there really isn't anything you can do. miscarriage happens for a numerous amount of reasons. but god bless. good luck and i hope you get result you'r wishing for.

I did several tests after my miscarriage and had some done at the hospital too, all of which came up negative.  So if i did a new pregnancy test now and it came up positive would it be a new pregnancy and when would i be able to test as i don't know when i should be gettin a period it has been 4 weeks since i had my miscarriage, the reason i am wondering if i am pregnant again is more to do with me being very run down which happens at the begining of my pregnancys.

it is  possible to concieve straight away after a mc,did you do a  test following your mc,to make sure your hormones had dropped.reason I say this is a positive test could be linked to the previous pregnancy.some women dont have a period following mc for some weeks.as long as 8 weeks.so just because you havent had a period does not make you pregnant.if indeed it is a new pregnancy,then there isnt anything you can do to prevent it.sadley 1 in 4 mc.but im sure you will be fine,all the best.
