Pregnancy after miscarriage!!!
So I had a miscarriage Sept 21st 2010 and I bleed for two days..I wasn't that far along...so the question I am asking is it's October 18 2010 and we have been trying to get pregnant..When is the earliest I can take a pregnancy test...after I miscarried I took a pregnancy test to make sure I fully miscarried and the test said no...so should I take one like October 22nd that way it's been four weeks since my miscarriage. Any suggestions on what I should do??? I want another baby but I don't want to keep taking test...if there all going to say no right now...what do you guys think on when I should take one?? I have irregular periods as it is so I wasn't going to wait till my period to start trying so we just have been having unprotected sex since a week after the miscarriage!! So friday Oct. 22 my hcg level was 26 Monday Oct. 25 it was 130 and today Oct. 27 it's 419.... so that's good right...so what i'm four weeks...today??? I don't know...I go in monday next week the november 1st to get my hcg result again....so far everything is going good...im so happy

That means its doubling like it should. The Number doesnt matter, its whether its going up or down that matters. Sooo be happy.
Some people dont show up on certain tests whereas they will show up with blood tests... the HCG in your urine probably wasnt strong enough, whereas it is in your blood.

ok so my hcg level was 26 friday and today it's 130 so what does that mean??? my urine test at the doctors office says i'm not pregnant though...i'm so confused should i be happy and excited or scared????
What were your HCG results.you wouldnt get a positive pregnancy test 2 days after ovulation.when we ovulate can take anything up to 72 hours for an egg to release,then it goes through a whole process.then travels to your uterus.there is no way a test would be positive after couple of days hun.have you had your results for 2nd HCG you posted your progesterone,what was the others.when you are doing all these tests are you making sure you are not drinking anything and holding your wee.I still do think this is lingering hormones from your last pregnancy.I do hope Im wrong.
What was your second HCG level,I know you said your first one was 26.on the 20th you took a pregnancy test,that said no,and a ovulation test that said positive is that correct.are you saying you took the pregnancy test again on the 22nd and it said yes.its very unlikely to get a positive pregnancy test 2 days after ovulation.
I have a healthy 17 year old,and had pcos after.I did have ovarian drilling,to reslove this.and after many failed pregnancys,now have a healthy 7 month old,and pregnant again,anyone with pcos can get pregnant,can be a little harder for these women.
im confused ont he tests you have been doing,when we know the results of your second HCG level then you maybe able to get better advice.you really need to talk to your doctor.

so when am i due if it's a viable pregnancy??? ....my last period before my miscarriage was august 12th...then my miscarriage happened september 21st and since then i haven't had a period...and i only bleed for two days when i miscarried....i was ovulating october 20th and took a pregnancy test the 20th also and it said no then two days later the 22nd it said yes...so what i am like 4 days pregnant??? I am so confused about all this i don't even know how far along i am...cause also on the 22nd i took a pregnancy test at the doctor's and there's said no...so i don't know...i think that's why i have been stressing a little about this..i'm trying not to but i don't know...i was told like 6 months ago i had pcos but i have two kids with no issues..i had the iud mirena for a year about and no period while having that....so then i got normal again after that got taken out... what if the lining of my cervix is to thin to carry a child right now...if i do miscarry should i try birth control pills to try to get my body fully on track?? I just don't know...my midwife says that if you have pcos it is hard to get pregnant but she said not me cause i have to healthy little girls...but i think i just can't bare to have another miscarriage especially back to back only a month apart...so any suggestion or input to all this???
Just found out today that my progestrone levels are 13.40, now is that good or bad?? remind you that I didn't find out I was pregnant till friday of last week...it's only been two days since i found out...my hcg level is 26 and progestrone level is 13.40 now i just want to know if that is normal this early on??? Any help please i can't stop worrying...thank you!
By the sounds of it is highly possible that everything can go ok for you. If you had a pose Ovulation tes a week before a faint Pos pregnanyh test then you would have caught the pregnancy very very early and so would still have a low amount of hcf. I know how worrying it is to be pregnant after a miscarriage (I have had three m/c 1 chemical pregnancy and five children) good luck hope it all turns out well for you :))
But i am just 26 on my hcg levels and i found out i was pregnant at home the doctors test came back negative for pregnancy...so i am confused things are just happeing the same as last time i miscarried which was only four weeks ago...so monday (my birthday) i get to find out if i am having another miscarriage or not...hopefully it all works out for the best... i really want to have another baby....
Hi everyone i found out at 8 weeks i had a blighted ovum and was misscarrying which happened on the 7th of august. i had hcg done at this time to check levels to make sure and they went from 21000 to 1600 in two days, it is now some time later i blead for around 4/5 weeks and only now as of the 18/10 2010 is my hcg down to 57 so im also proof that hcg can vary in the time it takes it seems ages that i have been going through this, my baby would now have been nearlly 19 weeks gestation. but i have now been discharged from hospital and dont have to have anymore bloods took. i have to do a pregnancy test in a fortnight and then i should be able to ttc so things are looking up.but i hope this helps some way for you to understand how hcg can vary in its time to reduce back to normal. By the way this was a natural management misscarriage no d&c.
When i had a miscarriage four weeks ago it was all natural..and i go to get blood drawn again on monday and if hasn't doubled then that's no good...I am expecting the worst so i am no disappointed at all.
after ur mc did u have a dnc or did ur body do it all just asking i had a mc in may and still have had no luck been trying for over 3 years now
You may just be feeling paranoid because your miscarriage was so soon. If you recently ovulated, you could only be a week or two pregnant. Your HCG wouldnt be that high in that case. Plus if it is only 26, that would explain the negative one some tests and positive on others.
I experienced a miscarriage in August.. and when I took my tests, they all showed very dark lines and my pregnancy still ended.. Everyones HCG levels rise differently.
At this point, it could go either way. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

My hcg levels are only 26 so it's already starting off the same way as my last miscarriage...i go in for another blood test monday..but i highly doubt they are going to be where they need to be right now...so looks like i am miscarrying again...ugh...
If you are getting a positive hpt, and a negative one @ the doctor's maybe the one you took was more sensitive?? I positive is always a positive, unless it was an evap line...

By working backwards, I conceived around OCt. 28. SO it is definitely possible that you could be pregnant and a faint line doesn't mean you are/will miscarry, just that it's very early.
I didn't test early, b/c I was afraid to even hope that I as pregnant. I waited until Dec. 30 and called my doc (STILL didn't test at home) and she had me come in for an u/s. The u/s confirmed I was pregnant, and helped to calculate my due date, since I hadn't had a period after my m/c.

So I took a pregnancy test Oct. 18th and it said NO... I took 2 today 10/22 and very faint lines on both...But at my midwife's the urine pregnancy test came back negative...It seems like everything is repeating it's self...I don't know what to do..this all happened last time I had a miscarriage!
