Pregnancy symptoms, did they come and go?

Hi! I'm late for my period. I think I am pregnant, but my tests keep coming out negative. I was curious if your symptoms came and went throughout the days. Like one day were your breasts really sore and then maybe the next day it was subdued? Same with nausea? Would it be worse some days and other days you almost feel normal? I have had both these symptoms along with back ached and head aches off and on for over a week now.
