Pregnancy under stress

I've been worried about this baby throughout my pregnancy. I am 17 weeks along. I had an ultrasound today and we're having a girl. We're really excited. Someone just upset me to the point of crying hard and having a hot flash. I'm worried that this might have hurt my little girl. Has anyone had stress and hot flashes during pregnancy? Thank you always...

Thank you so much for you quick and assuring response. So, you had alot of anxiety and stress and your little girl is healthy? That is comforting to know. So many people tell me not to stress and worry because that is bad for my baby. Well that is what I'm worried about. Thanks again.

Its normal to get upset easly and even to have hot flashes. I really dont think you have harmed you little girl. I was a basket case my entire pregnancy. I would cry for no reason at all. On top of the I had the added stress of the doctors and their stupid assumptions. They told me there was a good possiblity that something was going to be wrong with my baby girl and even had me beliving I was going to give birth to a mamoth size baby. So tons of stress and a healthy baby girl:) Try and avoid stress if at all possible and ignor other people. I think pregnantt woman should wear blinders and ear plugs to aviod unwanted advise and rude comments that people make and not realize how hurtfull they can be. Congrats on your little girl!!
