How long does it take averagely for the sperm to fertilize the egg?

So my boyfriend cumed in me about 2 or 3 days ago now im haveing some realy light blood when i pee what does that mean this would be my second child if it makes a different

The egg is fertilized when sperm meets it. As the poster above said, the egg is only viable for about 24 hours, but sperm can live in the body for 3 to 5 days before fertilization. Once the egg is fertilized, it takes 6 to 12 (I think those are the numbers, but I'm not sure) days for the egg to be implanted in the uterus.

Your egg is only viable for approx. 24 hours so it would have to occur within a small time frame as far as the egg life goes...
