the last 4 days i have been going to emerg because my doc was not available... they did both types of ultrasounds and did not see anything..only a sac ... now i think i just may have to wait until mond to go for more blood work and the ultrasound on thurs..thanks for your comments!!!
Hi jennifer,
just read your message. I have been in the same situation as you and had different outcomes. I would say that with my own experience the onset of the pregnancy ending comes with severe abdo pain, this is what happened to me and unfortunately I miscarried twice, however on a brighter note I had the same sort of bleeding as you but with no abdo pain and carried on to have 2 healthy babies(seperate pregnancies). I hope that things go well for you. I have also spoken to other women who have had heavy bleeding althrough their pregnancy and still delivered their babies.
Sadly enough, I have to agree with the previous post that it may be a miscarriage. I'm surprised your doctor did not do an ultrasound. I was just informed of my second miscarriage with twins within 6mo. today. Each time I went to the doctor, she did not rely on blood tests, rather transvaginal ultrasounds. Maybe your doctor did not due to your constant bleeding? I think you should ask for one.
Also, because my D&C is not scheduled until Monday, I was advised to call the emergency number if I began to bleed as I would during my period. If your doctor has yet to do anything about this, I would think about seeing somebody else. Again, these are just suggestions.
I wish you luck!
well the first 2 days it was dark and then the last two days it changes it goes from light to heavy and then from brown to dark red.... clots... i would say like very small like a pin drop thats about it ...
im no doctor so he's my guess...with levels dropping and bleeding getting heavier it does sound like a m/c. with both of my m/c's i went through the same thing and sadly both ended a few days later. the only thing at this point is to wait it out and see what happens with the bloodwork in 5 days. if it goes up, then have a repeat u/s...if it goes down there isn't much to do. are passing clot like material or just bleeding at this point? best of luck and i hope things work out, you never know!
