Pregnant w/ bleeding and cramps

Well I started off spotting, went to the dr he said everything was okay. Last night I started bleeding like anormal period type and now this morning i'm cramping too. which is just like period cramps. Is this a miscarriage. I called my dr and they said they didn't have to see me b/c if it is a miscarriage there isn't anything they can do. If this is a miscarriage how long does these cramps and stuff last. I am at work, but i want to be at home laying down. I'm just uncomfortable and am very sad .. I wanted a baby so badly. Guess it just wasn't my time for another one yet..... just sucks!

I called my dr about 10 mins ago. They haven't called me back yet. The nurse said she'd see if the dr would want to see me. I'm thinking about just going to the ER. I just moved to the area where we live now and don't know where too much stuff is yet.

I agree with waitn on the doctor thing! They are suppose to be there for you and make sure everything is okay and ready and willing to help you out however that may be. It's their job!

honestly if your doc is not willing to check to see what is going on i would look around for another doc

your doc should be checking you to see if thats whats happening or if something is causing it...infections can cause bleeding too...you never know

my advice is to get a 2nd opinion if your doc isnt going to check you out

Definitely call your doc. I was 5 weeks when I miscarried my first...the only way I knew it was happening was because the cramps were unbearable and I started passing tissue and clots. Just because you have one miscarriage does not mean it will happen again. I went through 2, one at 5 weeks and one at 10 weeks. And now I am 37 weeks pregnant. God does everything for a reason and he can still let you carry a baby to term! Don't give up. I though that after losing 2, I wasn't suppose to be a mother, but I kept praying and kept trying. Try to stay strong! Although I do know how hard it is to be positive during a time like this. If you ever need to talk I am here! And I know all the ladies on this forum are VERY supportive and I am so thankful to have them here. They are so helpful and loving.

I'm only like around 5 weeks or so. I'm not 100 percent that I am miscarrying. I just know that bleeding is never a good sign. I feel like i'm on my period. It's not as heavy as a period and the cramping is not always really bad, but sometimes it makes me almost double over. I have one son, so maybe thats all I was meant to have is one kid. I just hate that this is happening.

Sometimes bleeding in early pregnancy is okay. For others it's not a good a sign. Honestly, your doc should see you whether you are miscarrying or not. They need to confirm what is going on unless you know for a fact that you are miscarrying. They should check your levels and see if they are going up or down. My experience with bleeding was never a good one. Everytime I bled, I ended up miscarrying. I am so sorry you are going through this. When I went through it twice, my midwife wanted to see me that day to take blood and make sure my levels went all the way back down. I would call your doc and tell them that you want your levels checked. How far along are you?
