Pregnant?

I think there's a possibility I could be pregnant. I'm a couple weeks late, but usually have a very regular cycle. My question is, in anyone else's experience, has stress caused that much of a change or even a false positive on a pregnancy test?

The only way to get a false possitive is if your taking medicine to try to get pregnant. If it's not concentual you need to tell some one !!! It's important good luck

Definitely not ttc. If I do happen to be pregnant, this baby was not conceived consensually.

well, i never heard of getting false +ive test coz of stress. however, stress can make your period delay couple days (depends) when i was on stress my period comes 5-7 days late, havnt notice any other changes on af its stays usually 3-4 days every time.
are  you ttc? keep yourself to relax and then take hpt again may b after 2 days if u still hv +ive, let ur dr know, they probably give you a blood test.

So, rare, but possible? I know at this time on a Sunday night, I can't call my doctor (and it's not really an emergency)...but I'm freaking out. This would be far from planned, to say the very least.

If you tested positive on an at home test I would call your doctor.

My period has been off by a month due to stress. It didn't cause a false positive though. False positives on a pregnancy test are very rare.
