Hi .. I am TTC for the past 4 months with no luck. I used  to take one a day prenatal, It comes with two bottles 1 with prenatal and the other one with Fish oil(DHA) Fish oil made my stomach sick. so I took only the prenatal vitamins for a month. I haven't seen any changes. so after reading alot of reviews on "mature made prenatal multi+DHA) I started taking them now.. Hope i can see a BFP soon.

thickm- That is ridiculous that insurance won't cover them!I'm sorry that your having a rough time with the vitamins. I hope it gets better for you.

GinaG- Thanks so much! When I run out of these I'm going to look for the one with DHA. I really don't like taking 2 different ones.

Willow10- Yes, and I feel like I should be 3months!! I have a feeling I'm having twins. This is my first pregnancy.

Im 21 weeks & I've been taking the naturemade vitamins this whole time. i've never had a problem keeping them down or anything, but I've also had an extremely smoothe pregnancy. My dr never prescribed any to me..Is that picture you have your belly already? Is this your first pregnancy?

congrats ! I am so happy for you. See what your prenatal vitamin has in it already it may have dha. My doc also told me to take expecta because i am alergic to fish and a lot of the prenatal vitamins have fishoil in them  so he gave that to  me as a supplement i took the CVS brand though they are cheaper and has basically the same stuff as the expecta. Good luck and have a healthy and happy nine months.

Thank you! Maybe they will write out a script next week when I get my 1st ultrasound. I'm going to ask alot more questions then. I didnt realize naturemade had ones with DHA in it, the Multi prenatal does not though. I will have to look into that.

Congratulations! Take the naturemade w/ DHA. They sell that in costco. The DHA part is important for brain development. The Expecta is too pricy and the only thing added to it is the DHA which now offered also by naturemade. Good luck!

It's preferable if you get the prescription pre-natal vitamins, since they have a higher content of vitamins you need (compared to the non-prescription one). At least for the first 4 months.

I take the Naturemade prenatals.  I find they are reasonably priced without being the generics.  I have compared ingriediants... they all seem fairly similar (maybe a couple a little more of this or a little less of that).  I am about 5 weeks pregnant I found out last week (I had been trying for about a month so prenatals I have been taking regularly).  When is your estimated due date?  Congrats to you :)
