so at my last doc appt he gave me a blood work slip and it had the box checked off for me to get a reg urine done to make sure everything was ok..i had it done today..so ill get my results tomorrow....hopefully the pain dont get any worse...if it does ill def be going into l &d and ill be getting seen there too sence ill be 20 weeks tomorrow! I will not be seen in the er no more for anything to so with my baby! Its ridiculous that i have to go in there and wait so long!! Ergghh...Other then that the pressure is still there and the pain has settled down a little.but def still there!! So thats an update!
actually my urologist who treated me for kidney/uti infections as well as kidney stones said that once a UTI has already started, cranberry juice is actually acidic enough to aggravate your system and make the pain worse. it's only helpful to PREVENT them, and once you already have them it can make the symptoms worse and not actually help...(same problem with some other fruit juices)
so water water water, little miss. and yes it can definitely spread quickly to your kidneys so you need to go to the doctor asap and let them run that test I was talking about. is your urine dark at all? anyway, don't wait call the doctor in the morning. good luck hon
If you think it's a UTI then you really need to get checked out soon as any infection is not good for baby.
if it's a uti and your back is starting to hurt it could have spread to your kidneys. I would call your doctor in the morning. Drink lots of cranberry juice if you can ( I know it's nasty) to help flush your system.
Starting to get pains in the lower part of my back now...so im hoping that its the uti rather then it being anything else! I guess ill have to see if it gets any worse??!!
I got several during pregnancy with DD and one so far with this one... I do remember pressure, but I also got sharp pains in my bladder and that was usually the sign for me to call the DR... you should definitely call and ask it's a very easy, fast test to figure out if it is.
I was in the other day after i fell...they only listened to the heartbeat...i didnt get hooked up to see what the cramping was..they wouldnt take me up to l and d cuz i was only 19 weeks! So i was just wondering..lol i would have liked to have been hoooked up to see that i wasent having contractions!!
Ive had many of them through pregnancy, never really had pressure though with them, hun if you have fallen have you been to the doctors just to be checked over, dont assume its an infection, most likely nothing to worry about but get checked out.
