I'm on magnesium right now. Contractions are finally slowing down to every six minutes but that's only cause I'm sleeping and I've been on it for 8 hours and I'm on it till 6 am. Had to have more morphine again since my contractions were getting so bad.
If they can't stop them now they will more than likely try the magnesium iv meds, and if that doesn't work you will either be having your baby there or they will transfer you to another hospital that has a better nicu. Good luck hunny, sending prayers your way that the contraction stop.

Your baby may be very low and his or her head could be pushing on your cervix if anything they will give u a steroid to stop the baby from coming and send u home, your docter will continue to monitor it and make sure.Anything below 37 weeks is considered preterm but it dosent always mean baby will be born, some drop really low and get impatient lol and docters will stop your contractions,u should carry the rest of your term afterwards and have baby at a decent time:)
