Pretty sure I just got a BFP!!!!!

Wow, i'm really shocked!! 6 dpo!! I took a Dollar General test HPT, and I could see the line developing while the pink was going across the test, and now it hasn't even been ten min but its there and wide, but just so faaaaaaaaaaaaaaint, you can barely see it, but it is mid-afternoon urine, and I am only 6 dpo... so... I decided to test after having to leave school because I almost fainted!! I'm in shock!

Let me telly ou firstly congrats, you are DEFINATLY pregnant. Why I say this is because when I was SUPPOSED to ovulate i had the flu, so it seemed to push ovulation forward by about 6 days, so when I missed my  MF, I got a dollar test, NO LINE. I had used them before with no line. I tested again a week later and got a very faint line. I was confused being that I should have gotten a line after my missed MF (I tested twice that week both no line) so I decided to get one and test it first thing in the morning. Again a faint line but still a line. i was sooo confused to if it's an evaporation line or not.

So I got a clearblue didgital and it said pregnant. 2 days later went to my doctors and he had a pink line but not dark. He said the HCG must be only showing up therefore I was just pregnant. i was worried because this all shoulda happened a week prior.

So either i have low levels or the flue caused late ovulation by a week.
If you have missed your MF assuming you are regular, you should get a faint line around your missed MF. If it's later like me, it can be just late ovulation, im getting blood done to check HCG again.

Anywyas congrats, you definatly are, if you are unsure, pay for a first response or clearblue, they have 50 sensitivity as opposed to 25 so they can detect sooner.

gillianl-- I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure that is hard on you =( My cousin had IVF conceived on the second try. Then, her daughter was 3 at the time, the one conceived through IVF put her hand on my cousins stomach and said "you're pregnant Mommy". She dodn't track her cycles as they weren't trying and decided to test, sure enough... she was pregnant! You just never ever know, and they had no chance of conceiving on their own! God works in mysterious ways!! =)

As for me, I took three, yes, three more dollar tests! I collected my second morning urine and just went and got more $ tests and the results are SO confusing!! The first one you could see a line, the second one all I see is a white indent line, and the third I took without holding my urine and nothings there. I really can't stand these tests!! but with the way I test can't afford FRER's lol

I'm not going to be testing unless AF is late.  My chances of conceiving are very slim as i've just had adhesions cut away from inside my tubes and was told my best chance of conceiving is with IVF.  I have been cramping but it's been on and off the past few days, increased wet discharge and more tired than anything else.  I'm hoping for a BFP but really not building my hopes up on it

gillianl-- I am due for af next Thursday. So, I'm testing VERY early!! And yes, I have ALL of your symptoms! With my youngest, those weremy only symptoms a few days before af. You're symptoms sound very promising, however, as we know all these signs can be signs of the witch on her way too!! Just never know. When are you going to test? If you're due Monday, I would say if you test Saturday with FMU and an early results test your chances of it being accurate are pretty high!!

Pepsi611- I tested again this morning. Still the same thing. Gosh, I just don't know! I should NOT have tested this early simply for the fact I won't be able to stop now until I get my bfp or af LOL. I'm going to hold my pee again and go get more tests and do some here in a bit-- thats a TRUE addict!!=)

What symptoms do you have?  when is AF due?  i'm due AF on Monday, Wednesday latest been having a few more cramps again which have become more noticeable though not sore and i have been going to the loo constantly for the past 4 days, my boobs are slightly tender but nothing unusual.  What do you think my chances are?  do you have any of the above symptoms?

Ok, update! I took and answer early result. Still a VERY faint positive!!! Another barely there, do I see it type of line lol. Howeverrrrr I have never even seen a hint of a line on an Answer until the following day, they seem to develop a bit of an evap. Oh boy, Now I really wanna test tomorrow morning, can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, it would be very faint. The test I took was very faint, but you could definitely see it! They should darken the closer I get to when af is due. Where would I find your post?? Sorry... new to all this!! =)

Let us know...if u do get something do you suppose it will be faint though right? I am on another board and it seems like everyone gets faint lines and not dark. I always wonder about that.....I feel as if u do test this early my hope for my situation goes down, infact can u go read my post, I would really appreciate it....its like one of my only post I wrote on this forum, I know u wrote to someone else telling them u could help them out, just looking for your opinion since you say it is possible to test that early. I am really anxious to see ur result too.

Raerae-- that is correct they have a super low sensitivity!!

Lady9488-- It is interesting. I never knew it either, and after looking for the best of the best test online that was what I got.  But like another lady said, this isn't the dollar tree, this is dollar general and she got disappearing positives but was always pregnant. I wonder if the two detect at different levels... they look exactly alike though! Well DH is at the store right now getting some answer brands, they apparently detect pretty low as well. I've been holding off going to the bathroom pushing on two hours  now and my left kidney is hurting so hopefully he hurries, but hopefully this test shows something,. Being it's night time I dunno if it will, but I am taking another one in the morning, hopefully that one shows if this one doesn't. I will be 7 dpo then.

I meant if clear blue can pick up 5 days before ur expected period that's pretty odd that a dollar general test could pick up at 7 days before...but truly interesting news to me.

I read online dollar store tests pick up as low as 10-15 you can look at a chart of which is best but i just saw that about dollar store ones

I really hope you do get a positive, I just though if clear blue says it can tests 5 days earlier than ur expected period, a dollar test can pick up positive at 7 days earlier to ur next period. Do you have a shorter cycle? Good luck tho! Keep us posted I want to see what result u get and hopefully the lines u saw were A BFP.

bhenneker-- I'm reading that now too. Gosh, I REALLY hope that's the case!!

lady9488-- Actually, the dollar general tests register at 20. They have detected Hcg as low as 7. Some women have got a positive and had a beta that day and it's read that low. Absolutely amazing, I know, but very true! I heard digitals are great early predictors but FRER, Answer, and $ store pick up earlier than a digital. I'm going to test again tonight, after holding my pee, and tomorrow morning with an answer and see if I can get a positive... If I get even a hint of a line, I'm going to get a digital!!!! Oh, and FRER's now detect at 12.5!!!! But, they say to be careful because they pick up so early and some women have chemicals so it can be heartbreaking!

Yeah I don't think a dollar general test would show that early, their hcg levels are way higher than a digital test so it takes longer, try testing with a different test.

i from canada and our dollar store test(not dollar tree but i'm pretty sure they are the same) with all my pregnancy (5) those test have never been wrong but the only thing i find is that after a min or two the line is gone , but i was pregnant everytime it said so for the min or two..

My test line disappeared?? I took a second one after the first one and that one was even darker. Go to look at them to smile and awe over them, and they're gone=( The second one all I can see is where a line would normally be. I am so confused, and truly heart broken. I know it's still early so I'm not totally out, but was positive I had a bfp. Anyone has any experience with $ tree tests??

i tested like 4 or 5 days ago, not expecting my period until the 16 or 17 so ima wait to test again!
