Preventing saggy boobs after baby?

I know this is gonna sound selfish, but... I really like my breasts the way they are. (And my guy does too.) Kinda flipped out about them getting all deflated and saggy-looking after pregnancy. I'm a DD already. Are there any exercises, vitamins, etc. that could help minimize that side effect?

Unfortunately no. the hormones that cause pregnancy and the fact that they get bigger while pregnant causes them to "sag". I breastfed for a short amount of time then pumped for a few months. My breasts aren't saggy, but they aren't where they were prepregnancy.

well..not really. you can try to strengthen your pectoral muscles by doing arm-curls with 3-5lb weights and that can sometimes help but it's mostly genetic.

I was a 36DD going into my first pregnancy and now with my 3rd I'm somewhere around 38FF..and although my breasts are HEAVY, they're definitely not deflated or saggy...in fact, for as large as they are they're quite perky, lol.

The best thing to do would be to wear a bra ALL THE TIME, and I'm not joking. a sports bra at night for comfort, but a supportive, comfortable bra pretty much around the clock. that will help combat gravity, and strengthening your pectoral muscles can help a little. I don't really know anyone who has had saggy or deflated-looking boobs after pregnancy, regardless of how large or small they started out..that has more to do with age and genetics like I said. the only person I know who had pregnancy-related sagging had 3 back-to-back pregnancies and breastfed for something like 6 years without a break, lol, but pretty much everyone else either gets their pre-preg boobs back or close enough that it makes no nevermind.

LOL Danielle @ our differing opinions...I think the general concensus is that there's not much to do to prevent it if you're going to be prone to it. Like stretchmarks, if your boobs are going to sag..they will no matter what. But most women I know didn't have much of a noticeable difference. Danielle I'm sure your boobs look great LOL :-)

LOL! Why thank you, Ivy! They aren't saggy by any means, but I can tell that they don't look like they did before pregnancy. I actually went down a cup size after I had Lexi and gave up on relactating. (seriously, I miss the massive boobs I felt like had while bf'ing!) I guess I just 'feel' like they've lost a little volume and hang 'slightly' lower than they did prepregnancy. BUT, hubby doesn't mind and can't tell a difference. Maybe I just feel like they look different bc I'm really self conscious. Idk...I think it's just one of those things. I have noticed I have MASSIVE Mama hips now. *sigh* That's okay, I can still squeeze my butt into some size five jeans in juniors, so I'll take what I can get! I had to donate all of my prepregnancy jeans to goodwill because they're several sizes too big.

Point is, pregnancy changes your body. It's all got to do with genetics and how you put the weight on during your pregnancy. I won't lie, the last month I did become a reese's cup fiend! But my midwife said the hormones cause the breasts to sag and to wear a good supporting bra. Did I? Not to sleep in. I don't think we can really escape anything like stretch marks, mama hips, or saggy breasts. Eventually, it's just going to happen unless you have money to buy a new body. Lol.

use the stretch mark lotion on the because, while you can't really prevent sagging or "floppiness', you can prevent stretch marks. And they will get much bigger so keep that skin prepared!!!
