Progesterone during pregnancy

Just curious if anyone has had any weird side effects from taking Prometrium during pregnancy.  My fam dr put me on it as a precaution due to a previous m/c, until I can get in to see the OB she's referring me to.  In my m/c my progesterone levels dropped but they weren't sure if that was caused by the m/c or if they were dropping because I was going to m/c.  Anyway, due to my history, the fam dr has me taking a suppository once nightly.  I see the OB a week and a half from now.  I am 9 wks along and have been irritable, mood swings, etc.  But today I'm having a hard time concentrating/focusing in my thinking, and I find myself anxious and feeling removed from my thoughts...like the thoughts I'm thinking are almost not my own.  To me this sounds like a mental thing...like anxiety or something.  I have had a little pressure in my head/ kind of headachy.  I called my family dr to see if I should discontinue the Prometrium and she said not until I see the OB.  The OB cannot get me in sooner, but I can see one of her NP's in two days.  I'm not sure what to do.  The mental thing is kind of a scary feeling for me- sort of like I'm not in control of my thinking sometimes, like I'm harsher or more distant than I would normally be.  It makes me panicky (I guess I'm kind of a worrier in the first place.)  Any advice or experience with this?  Thanks.

I feel light headed alot and have head aches but I've not had any other symptoms you mentioned but I wouldn't stop the prometrium I take 200 MG at PM to prevent MC if I conceive.  I just had a MC and am TTC again so I'm on it as a preventative also.  Good luck and try to see your OB asap....just in case.
