Progesterone levels

Does anybody know anything about progesterone levels for pregnant and non-pregnant women? My dr. wants me to get my progesterone levels checked to see if i'm ovulating. I got a positive on the ovulation test last friday but she(dr.) wants to see my numbers. If the egg was fertilized last Friday or Saturday, will my levels be high enough for it to be detected?

over 10 means you ovulated.. but even if it is low you could be pg.. mine was 11.4 so I had to start taking progesterone suppositories.. I am now 34w pg

Your doctor probably wants to check you around CD 21 or 7DPO...that is when they check your progestrone. I had a BETA (hcg test) and it was 22 and my progestrone today at 9DPO was 22.9...anything over 20 is good for pgcy...
