Protein in urine at 29 wks 3 days

So i am 29 wks and 3 days today and yesterday when i went to the doc because my face was tingling all over i found out that my blood pressure was 152/72. Then they found a litttle bit of protein in my urine. They want me to do a 24 hr urine test and start it on Sunday so i can turn it in on Monday morning when my doc will be back. I had the same problem with my son and was induced with him 2 days before my due date. But it is happening so early with my little girl and i dont want to have a preterm baby either. What should i do i am freaking out that i will have to delivery to early?

ok, calm down, your pressure is slightly elevated, but they are catching things early, how much protein was in your urine, did they say, I had the same thing happen to me, except my blood pressure was 190/110 for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy., sometimes you will get trace protein if you have an infection such as uti, when you start the 24 hour urine, be sure to pee, throw the first one away. then collect the rest for the next 24 hours and get it into the lab as soon as possible, also keep the collection container in the fridge( gross I know) or on ice.

Well I dont blame you for being nervous, but unfortunately, whatever will be.. will be.. Having no control over situations really stinks!! =(

Im doing the 24 hr urine test starting Sunday morning and turn it in on Monday morning to L&D department and she told me to stay there will they run the test and they would be putting me on the monitor to watch the baby. But they did the same thing with my son and they induced me that day.

I dont know..

I had protein in my urine at my last appointment and my blood pressure was high as well..

I was also in the hospital 3 days last week having contractions, and I am only 25.5 weeks. My Dr. scheduled another appt. next week to re-check my urine and bp, and said hopefully it will just go away.

I know thats not very helpful but wanted you to know you arent alone. I am worried too, but there isnt anything I can do.. Uggh..

I am thankful I have an u/s today, actually in like 45 minutes. That alwasy makes me feel a bit better. Did your Dr. schedule a follow up to this most recent appt for you?
