Question for my friend..

So she had to go to the hospital this morning, she's roughly 30 weeks pregnant. She started bleeding, and having a weird colored discharge. The discharge is now pink, and a lot of mucous type stuff in it mixed with blood. The bleeding started last night, and she was thinking maybe it was nothing so she waited to see if it would stop. When she woke up it's mostly a really mucous discharge mixed with blood, and pink. The hospital DID NOT check her cervix at all.. and from my experience of having 2 preemies, I'm think her cervix is thinning out, and suggesting she goes to a different hospital and demands they check to at least see if she's dilated. Anyone else think maybe that's what she should do, or know what it could be?

Yeah well I offered to ride with her to a different hospital, so I could at least demand they do something for her. The hospital she went to is a bunch of idiots I've already been there myself and they didn't do **** for me either. Just sent me back home. IMO I think she's going to go into labor soon. I went into labor with my son at 31 weeks, and it was about what's happening to her that happened to me. They didn't check me either when I went to the hospital that day, just sent me home. Later that night my water broke, so I'm fairly frustrated with that stupid pos hospital atm. And she's just in denile (sp) thinking maybe it's nothing, and it'll stop soon. (Her first baby) and I tried to ask her if she's having contractions, but she doesn't know what a contraction feels like so I've been trying to describe that feeling to her. You can tell she's worried by what I was describing, but I still don't know what she feels and I'm having a hard time convincing her to let me take her to the hospital somewhere else =(.

What did they do for her, I have already been in the hospital three times, this pg.. they checked my cervix twice, did an u/s and took lots of blood each time.. And i wasnt bleeding, just high BP and a bad case of the GI track virus.. She needs to go somewhere else, bleeding is not good at all.. Unless they can tell her why..

i dont know but it doesnt seem good. they should have checked her. everytime i went to the hospital/er/or just a reg. dr. visit they always checked me. tell her to go back and speek up about everything. it could be nothing and if this is her first maybe she didnt know to ask but if she need you maybe you could go w/her. for support and knowledge for premes maybe you know other ??s to ask the dr she didnt know to ask. good luck
