If you are almost in tears, see your doctor ASAP. There is no reason to have intense pain like that. Have someone take a look at you to at least explain what is going on? It will ease your mind and if there is something to treat it will at least have been looked after. Good luck.
Thank you everyone. I go to the doctor next week for my 16 week check up and it is one of the questions I have for him. It really sucks! Lucky for me I have a very understanding husband.
It happened to me around that time. Some days its just a little bit more sensitive down there or the baby might be putting pressure on that area at the same time. Don't worry it gets better. However, if the pain is too intense or you bleed a little (which can happen during pregnancy after having sex and is COMPLETELY normal) than you can't have sex for a week.
Oh and don't worry about being embarrassed talking to your doc about it, this is what they do, they won't think anything of it. :)
I've never been that far along before, but my doctor said I could bleed after sex because the cervical area is swollen while you're pregnant, so maybe that is why it is hurting? Ask you doctor, but definitely don't do it if it hurts! That makes it no fun! Everyone's bodies are different and this could just be an unfortunate but normal side effect in yours.
I would call your doctor and ask. I dont think it should hurt, especially at 15 weeks. Although, it could be that your internal muscles are already a bit sore from the stretching that happens during pregnancy and the sex is making it worse. I don't recall having pain during intercourse when I was pg but that was 3 years ago.
aww, sex shouldn't hurt. i've never been pregnant but i've read lots on it and people said that you should abstain if it hurts. i know, easier said then done right??
alot of my guy-friends' biggest complaints about their pregnant wives is the lack of sex. selfish, huh?
