Has anyone had to take Rhogam more than once? I took it during my M/C two years ago and wanted to know for those of you that have had to take it, how many times and what was the process?
I have had four girls and I have had to have the RH shot twice with every three of them. I got out of it with on because she has my blood type. They give the first shot at about 20 weeks and the second shot when the baby is born.
HI! when i first found out i was preggo i was told i was RH- negative and i needed Rhogam..later on after i got the first shot...we found out that my husband is also negative blood type..so really we dint need the shot...as long as you guys are both neg. you are fine! its not a big deal like they make it seem.
I'm RH - and have had it with all four kids. It's no big deal, but like any med, it wears off and you will have to repeat it with each child. If you know the fathers blood type then you might not have to have it.
