Rambling questions...

Its one of thsoe days that I'm questioning everythign about my fertility.
Anyway I think I'm finally O'ing and I have bd'd every other day this week.  Last time was yesterday morning, but I'm O'ing today.  I will try to bd tonight again BUT i'm also hoping that there's one live swimmer in there that gets the egg before the rest of the pack get there later.  Does sperm really live in there for a couple of days?
How many women in reality get pregnant not on the day they O but on the days around it?
i'm bored at work....

hey,
yes, i agree sperm can survive longer than you expect inside you. i've heard up to 7 days some sites and people say. but 2-5 is what i hear on average.
so i dont think a woman knows which sperm fertilizes her egg and when. i mean, from what we know, it could have been sperm from 4 days ago that did the job! the best thing you can do is make sure its available while you think/know you're ovulating. i remember just being happy knowing there was some swimmers working. you always think its going to happen while you are bd'ing but it takes time to dig their way into the egg doesn't it.
i think the best thing is to make sure your body is relaxed and happy and healthy. : )

I think *viable* sperm can *live* "in there" from 2-4 days. At least that is what I recall off the top of my head. I really hope it is your month!
