Results for my level 2 ultra sound

SO I went today and got my level 2 u/s they said my EDD will stay the same but the baby is weighing 3lbs 7 oz. Isn't that kind of big for 29w4d? I read that at 29wks baby is supposed to be 2.5lbs.... I don't know. I'm just scared I'm going to end up pushing out a 10lbs baby... What do you ladies think?

Wow what a big boy... Yeah I have a feeling she is going to be huge.. I just hope she comes a little early. My luck she will come early and still weigh like 9 lbs... LOL....

i had my son at 36 wks they did an u/s the day the delivered him and told me he was gonna be 6 lbs well he came out a wopping 8lbs 2oz so the u/s was way off

Yes my son wighed 6lbs 7 oz @ a month early.... He is a little monster now... LOL When my Dr. meausred my belly last she said i was measuing like I was I was between 33 and 34 weeks and then the baby weighs 3lbs 7oz. So she probly is going to be big. I hope the Dr. changes my due date when I go for my appointment.

As far as the babies weight is they usually tell you when go for an u/s. Ask your dr. when you go to your app she should have all the info in your file....

Do they tell you how much baby weighs or is it somewhere in our notes?

I had emergency scan at 25+3 and babys head circumference was 24.3cm and abdominal circumference 21.8cm but they didnt mention anything about her weight???

I am 29 weeks 1day... I had my last doctors appt at 27 weeks 5days.. and my little man was measuring 3 pounds already!

yea, you probably just have big babies!!!!!!  :)  your youngest was a whole month early and still weighed 6lbs 7oz?  my 1st dd weighed 6lbs 12oz when she was born and she was term!  i have smaller babies (but looking at their baby pictures now you'd never know!) hopefully this one will hit the 8lb mark!

I agree the u/s is just an estimate. I had a u/s at 28w and baby was about 2pounds 12 Oz......You could just have big babys'...

I was around someone with fifths disease. Bllod test came back negative but Dr. said the u/s wouldn't hurt to  get.... I'm concerned about the baby's weight my son was 1 month early @ 6lbs 7 oz and the one before him was 8lbs 8 oz. Its just scary.... LOL

what was the level 2 u/s for?

as far as the weight...  u/s are not accurate but rather an estimate.  our doc told us it and be + or - up to about 8oz.
